Not sure if this was answered at some point & I just missed it, but why does Nova call Pluto "Rexy"?

It's one of a few frequent questions with Nova and Pluto.

Pluto's nickname from Nova is "Rexy" because their monster form is basically a big ole black t-rex skeleton

as well as it being a sneaky way for Nova to call Pluto sexy.

I personally have Pluto referred to as "Rexy" or just "Rex" for short due to it being a popular name for a dog at some point in history (dunno if people still use it now). And Pluto and Nova are meant to be my "Dog x Cat" couple.
